This Privacy Policy explains how Datanest ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Orbit and the orbitwork.sh website (the "Service"). We operate from Aotearoa New Zealand and handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you provide. Your email address when you join the waitlist or contact us, and any account details you supply when you sign up for Orbit.
- Content you create. Boards, tickets, knowledge bases, credentials, and other data you store while using the Service.
- Usage data. Basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and how you interact with the Service, collected to keep it secure and working.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- Respond to your enquiries and send you updates you have requested;
- Improve and secure the Service; and
- Meet our legal obligations.
Credentials and secrets
Credentials you store in Orbit are encrypted and brokered through our secrets infrastructure. They are never exposed to agent sandboxes directly and are only injected into outbound requests on your behalf. We do not read, sell, or share the contents of your secrets.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the Service (for example, cloud hosting and email delivery), and only to the extent needed to provide it. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymise it unless we are required to retain it by law.
